• Strategic commercial strategy development: Led the project contracting and execution strategy development and built and led a team of commercial professionals to execute all aspects of project contracting, procurement, expediting, materials management, supplier quality management, and contract administration - from project inception through to completion and handover to operations.

• Procurement: Managed end to end procurement process for a suite of engineered equipment packages, building and leading a team of professionals to undertake end to end procurement service including buying, expediting, supplier quality management, expediting, materials management, warehousing and logistics.

• Driving commercial performance: Implemented an innovative contracting approach, combining multiple pricing structures into a single project delivery agreement, according to scope and capacity to manage project risk. Successfully drove contractor performance through an aligned incentive scheme tied intrinsically to project value drivers.

• Claims and disputes: Led forensic analysis of claims – delay and quantum – and successfully negotiated resolution of complex contractual and extra-contractual claims. Implemented innovative dispute avoidance strategies throughout project delivery phase.

• Social value: Led development and implementation of indigenous and local business engagement plans, in collaboration with local industry representative groups and project proponent corporate functions.
